I thought and thought and thought about what pithy, powerful poetry I might post today for my Solar Return. But this, as it has in past years, suits me just fine. Now we are Six(ty).
(ps: If you’d like to help me celebrate my birthday in a beautiful, tangible way, please donate a little (or a lot) to my dear friends and colleagues at Cherry Hill Seminary or else to the SEVA Foundation).
Now We Are Six
by A. A. Milne
When I was one I’d just begun,
When I was two I was nearly new,
When I was three I was hardly me,
When I was four I was not much more,
When I was five I was barely alive,
But now I am six! As clever as clever!
And I think I’ll stay six now for ever and ever!
Wishing you all happiness.
Happy belated birthday Beth! Welcome to the 60s club. Many blessings to you this new year and new decade! And many thanks for all that you do to help make this world a more loving community in heart connection with the Divine in all life.
