Ah…I love the little hummers! I finally got around myself to putting up a feeder this year and the hummingbirds are there almost continuously – put it right above my bee balm and butterfly weed patch so that probably helped 🙂
they are such a joy to see. We have a few around my office and today i got to watch two of them chasing eachother around the parking lot it was great. almost like a moment out side of time.
Roger! Hi! It’s great to see you here in our little nest!
Last year we had so many, and they were so hypnotic, that I have been seriously considering setting up an all-day webcam at the porch feeder. The ambient sounds of our woods and their dramatic battles with the bumblebees make for some fine entertainment (in my opinion!) .. I don’t know what kind of technology would be best for it, so any ideas are welcome!
Vow, I hope I can find this drinking device nearby.
I was scratching my head on how to make one myself.
I didn’t know you can buy it.
They’re pretty common around here. They are made by “Perky Pet.”
thanks for sharing that little guy with us.
Cute! 🙂
