Yes, we’ve got a big black snake in our back yard that we found in our tree this spring. I just found a long snakeskin in the garage. I hope the hummingbirds are too fast for him. There are plenty of mice for that bad boy.

Anyway they just eat about one mouse a week, so no natural cycle is broken.
During winter they hybernate.
Hummingbirds are too fast for it. They could catch pigeons though.
