I Hardly Ever Do This, But…

We cultivate love when we allow our most vulnerable and powerful selves to be deeply seen and known, and when we honor the spiritual connection that grows from that offering with trust, respect, kindness, and affection.
Brené Brown

Okay, so I have never felt comfortable selling or even tooting my own horn. However, I also do understand that if I honor the work I offer (I certainly do), it is important to share it.

That means that from time to time, I need to actually let people know what I am up to, and how I might be able to be of service to you.

Many of you reading this were used to seeing these updates in my WINGS newsletter. But since I am not sending it out these days, I am hereby giving myself permission to occasionally share my announcements here.

Seems like this Leo Full Moon is a good place to start!

First, I want to let all my local friends know that there are still THREE seats left in my introductory Tarot workshop:

Tarot Without Tears

Part One: Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020
1:30-6:30pm

Part Two: Sunday, March 22, 2020
11am-6pm
Durham, NC

It’s been over three and a half years since I was able to offer this class, and those of you who have taken it (now in the many hundreds!!) know that it is one of the great loves of my life to show budding readers how to get a strong start, and boost their knowledge and confidence. All in two easy steps.

I know that there are countless YouTube and Insta-experts, but .. Who are they really? Who vets them? How do you know that what you are getting is accurate and proven? And what if you have questions or want follow-up?

This is why I feel there is just no substitute for the in-person, exclusive attention you get in a real-time workshop. And there’s simply nothing like learning from a master-level teacher with nearly 50 years of both Tarot and professional training expertise.

It is a passion of mine to ensure that new (and lapsed) readers are assured of a strong, ethical, and joyful foundation.

So, after my long (rather involuntary!) hiatus, I am really delighted to once more offer this for Tarot beginners, as well as folks who want to clarify and strengthen their skills. For all the where/when/how much/ and more, click here!

The other tidbit for today —

I am not sure how (or if??) it shows up on various devices, but you can always see when I am available for readings — both in-person and by phone — via my website’s Calendar. Also viewable as a widget or sidebar on various browser screens, it additionally shows my classes, and even special events of interest, like the upcoming Mercury retrograde.

The star icon is what I use to give a heads up regarding special occasions of various sorts; the feather (of course, it is an owl’s feather!) is for the days I offer readings, and the light bulb symbol indicates a class or teaching event.

By the way — Some of you have commented that I am no longer as available for readings as I once was.

As you certainly know, I adore meeting with you over the cards. But in order to be able to fold other projects into my life that have been waiting in the wings, I have been obliged to trim back. I know you understand, so thank you.

That said, yes, there are, in fact, several appointment times currently available, although none before next month (they do tend to fill up rather quickly).

That’s it for now! I expect to have a couple of interesting updates in time for next month’s Full Moon, so please stay tuned.

Thanks for visiting today, and see you with tomorrow’s Card of the Week!

  1. I nearly was gobsmacked by the moon when I took Miss Muttsie Belle out in the courtyard before bed. Bright indeed! Clear. No, not the moon, YOU! glad to see you in this format and back at sharing your way through the cards. Onward, good Lady!
