Guardian of the North, we stand on the threshold of Winter. Keeper of the deep places, roots beyond knowing, we light our fourth candle tonight.
We stand on the final threshold before Winter Solstice. Keeper of Earth’s deepest places, the roots that are beyond knowing, guide our way home.
Let us call forth this night the joy of the Earth. May She come with laughter and splendor, reminding us that we are Her beloved, precious children.
By bone and stone, seed and flower, from darkest caves to highest mountaintops, tonight we light candles of Joy for the sweet Earth and coming birth.
